Comments:: I gave my son up through catholic Social Service, I did keep the records open so he would have
access if he wanted to find me. I gave him up so he would have a better life than I was able to provide for him. It
was not something I wanted to do, I felt he deserved a good life and as his mother it was my responsibility to
give him the best chance in life possible and that wouldn't have been with me. He deserved better than I was
able to do. I regret I was not able to give my son the best and hoped by doing this at least he would have a
good life, I loved him enough to give him that, instead of being selfish and keeping him because he was mine.
I had nothing to offer except love, which doesn't put food in his belly or a roof over his head, he deserved a life,
not poverty.

Comments: I am a cousin of this baby girl. She is now 49 years old. I found record of birth and it says "Kile" the
mother's name. I found another record of birth the same day at the same hospital that lists the baby's name as
"Smelcer". I heard this girl contacted my cousin, her birth mother, just before my cousin passed away in 2009.
Then when my cousin passed away all the letters were destroyed. I would like to find this girl and welcome her
into our family. I'm sure my cousin would have done this of only she would have lived long enough.

students in San Diego, California but we're not a steady item. My birth mom was around 19 years old when I

children homes society of riverside or palm springs .. i believe both of her birth parents chose a closed
adoption . she was then adopted by a Donna and kendall seamans of riverside. After a year i believe they
moved to redding california . I would love to be able to have some medical history and know where my genes
come from . I try to get information from my now grandparents (my mothers adopted parents) about the couple
who are my moms birth parents . I have heard my grandmother tell me that my moms birth father was a tall
man and that they were a younger couple .. i would love to find any information about her birth parents even if
its not directly from them .. I love them for the life they gave my mother , i would just like to learn about them :)
